Cedar Grove High School is located in south DeKalb County at 2360 River Road, Ellenwood, Georgia 30294. Cedar Grove High opened in the fall of 1972 with an enrollment of 512 students. Located in rural South DeKalb County, the enrollment has fluctuated over the years with the development of the surrounding area. In 1993, with the resurgence of housing developments in the area, enrollment began to increase by large increments.

       The mission of Cedar Grove High School is we strive to educate the whole child, maintaining high academic standards with respect for all learners. As a school community, we aspire to provide a safe environment in which teaching, and learning are at high levels while enhancing stakeholder engagement.The goal of Cedar Grove High School is to be one of the top achieving schools in the DeKalb County School District.
