Cedar Grove High School is well on its way toward an exciting school year. We have been working diligently to ensure that our students have the tools to become successful, productive, and life-long learners. It is the goal of the CGHS faculty and staff, along with collaboration from the community and other stakeholders, to support the students’ academic, athletic, and social success. Cedar Grove High School is the best kept secret in DeKalb County. We have been recognized for having a graduation rate of 83.08%. Our indicator in the College & Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI) is 86.9%, which exceeds the district and state score. Over 35% of our student body is taking AP courses, and 68% are enrolled in accelerated courses. Our clubs and organizations compete and place on the state and national levels and our athletic teams excel by being region and state champs. Our teachers’ dedication is extraordinary and we have a 90% teacher retention rate. We take pride in knowing that we operate a school that has a culture and climate where all of our students work hard to graduate on time and move to the next level. At Cedar Grove, we are dedicated to our students’ success; therefore, we need your help to ensure our students realize their fullest potential. We are truly a hidden diamond in the rough. With the development of new goals and objectives, our need for sponsorship has increased. Assistance and monetary donations from sponsors like you will help guarantee our students’ academic, athletic, and social success. CGHS is requesting support from individuals, businesses, and organizations. 

We are asking our sponsors to purchase sponsorship banners. The banners will hang on our Sponsorship board for the entire school year, and you will be recognized as a sponsor of Cedar Grove High School on our school website. You will be able to advertise by setting up tables at the school’s PTSA meetings and the home volleyball and basketball games. If you would like to donate items we need outside bleachers, box trucks, hauling trailers, pre-game meals, detergent, water, ball racks, and more. You may purchase a 2x1.5 banner, which will display your name/business, address, phone number, email address, and logo. Your banner will be displayed on the sponsorship board in front of the school for the 2023/2024 school year. The cost of the banner is $300.00. If you do not wish to purchase a banner but would still like to contribute, it is greatly appreciated. Members affiliated with the CGHS Community Outreach Program will contact you for your support or you may simply mail your contribution to the address listed below (attention Shewanda Pattillo, Athletic Director).
